Course Objectives :
The aim of this course is to give the student a detailed study about the chemistry of organic compounds with poly-functional groups .
Course Description:
Polyunsaturated hydrocarbons and Dines, a,b-unsaturated carbonyl compounds, dicarbonyl compounds, dicarboxylic acids and their esters, halogen and hydroxyl acids - stereochemistry and carbohydrates, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons – alicyclic compounds .
